British-American Business Council Extends Awards Deadline

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- The BABC International Business Awards has announced that it is extending the deadline for submissions to Friday, 11:59 pm, July 20.  

Becci Himes, executive director of the British-American Business Council Houston said, "We decided to extend the deadline because we’ve received a number of requests from companies for additional time to go through internal procedures prior to submission.   We want to make sure we give opportunity to as many qualifying organizations as possible.”

The BABC International Business Awards recognizes and encourages UK and US companies who are successfully engaging in trade and investment between the two countries, and specifically in Texas.  

Finalists in each of three categories will be announced at a reception on August 29 at the Westin Memorial City.  Winners will be announced at a luncheon at the Westin on October 3.
