Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Sneads Ferry, NC – Greedy, power-hungry lawmakers. Corrupt pharmaceutical lobbyists. Cover-ups. Murder.

It’s just another day covering crimes and conspiracies in DC for Washington Daily Star investigative journalist Laura Wolfe.

The savvy reporter returns in author Keith Donaldson’s soon-to-be released novel Senate Courtroom Cabal, the highly anticipated thriller in the award-winning and hugely popular Laura Wolfe series. Ms. Wolfe first made a name for herself in Washington, DC, when she tracked a serial killer in Mr. Donaldson’s Death of an Intern. This time, Ms. Wolfe is back, juggling motherhood and a new complicated and dangerous case involving a new miracle-cure cancer drug.

The setting? Capitol Hill. First-year US Senator Roanne Dalton seeks Wolfe’s help after the FDA surprisingly rejects the promising cancer drug Tutoxtamen, citing negative side effects. Dalton isn’t convinced. She has a hunch that foul play in her own ranks may be the real reason behind the FDA’s decision. But unraveling this medical mystery proves tricky and dangerous for even these two strong women.

Senate Coatroom Cabal will be released October 25 and is available for preorder through BQB’s online store. http://shop.boutiqueofqualitybooks.com/Senate-Cloakroom-C...  It’s also available for prerelease reviews to those interested in taking an early peek and posting their comments online.
