British-American Business Council Announces 2012 International Business Awards FinalistsThe BABC International Business Awards recognize UK and US companies excelling in transatlantic trade.
By: The British-American Business Council Houston Applications were received from a variety of sectors in the categories of Small Business, Large Corporate and the Consul General's Award for Corporate Social Responsibility. Finalists in the Small Business and Large Corporate category were selected based on their year to year revenue growth and year to year creation of jobs in the UK and US. The Consul General Award finalists were selected for their charitable, philanthropic and cultural exchange work in the UK and the US. "As the State's largest investor and largest foreign employer, the UK has quite an impact on the economy of the State of Texas. BABC Houston is pleased to acknowledge and recognize those companies excelling in the British-American business community," said Becci Himes, Executive Director of the British-American Business Council Houston. Categories and finalists are listed below. Winners in each category will be announced at a luncheon open to the public on October 3, 2012, at the Westin Houston Memorial City.
