On November 24, 2006, the late Sean Bell joined his friends in celebration of his upcoming wedding ceremony to, his high school sweetheart and mother of his children, Nicole Paultre. Upon leaving his celebration in the early hours of his wedding day, Sean was gunned down and killed in a barrage of 50 bullets, fired by three New York City Police officers. in the attack, two of his friends, Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield, survived with unimaginable injuries. All men were found unarmed or in no violation of the law.
