SC Wellness Founders Win Prestigious Award for Healthy “Eartha” Book

Oct. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Eartha Gets Well, a children’s book written by Conway residents Kristi and Dr. Daniel Falk, has a shiny new Moonbeam Award to show off this fall. The brightly illustrated picture book promoting healthy choices for kids secured a Bronze Medal from Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards in the Health Issues Category. In June, the book was entered in the award program which recognizes excellence in children’s books and aims to support childhood literacy. Winners for the awards in 39 categories covering multiple subjects, styles, and age groups were announced this week.

This is the first book in what will be a series of adventures and lessons for the title character Eartha and her dog Cooper.  This is the first book for the Falks as well as their first award.
