Palm Springs REALTORS® Association Donates $17K “Close to Home” in 2012

Jan. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® (http://www.PalmSpringsRegionalMLS.com) is pleased to announce that it has donated $6,900.00 raised by its REALTOR® and Affiliate Business Members as part of its 'Close to Home' community giving program.  This donation brings the program’s 2012 annual total giving to over $17,000 for four local nonprofit recipients.  The four organizations benefiting from the program in 2012 are Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City, Save-A-Pet in Desert Hot Springs, Well in the Desert of Palm Springs, and The Mizell Senior Center, also in Palm Springs.

While fundraising is a year-round activity for the Palm Springs professional association, this final distribution for the year was raised during the group’s annual Fall Harvest Bake Sale & Auction. “Our REALTOR® members and business affiliates work hard to consistently beat their own fundraising goals.  Giving back to the community is extremely important to this group,” says Kevin Stern, 2012 President of the Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS®.

The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® is a group of real estate professionals and their business affiliates working to support each other and the residents of each city of the Coachella Valley from Palm Springs to Mecca.
