His outstanding leadership, organizational and people skills will enhance our mission of helping the homeless become empowered and self reliant,” Trish Bell, chairman of the board, said. Alvarez is responsible for operations and programs at Chapman Partnership, providing strategic direction and counsel for all decisions related to residents and facilities. He will have offices in both the North Center in downtown Miami and the South Center in Homestead. During more than 20 years with the U.S. Army, Alvarez served in numerous leadership positions that include chief of operations, public affairs officer and most recently, chief of communications and outreach. He has a master’s degree in international business from Florida International University. About Chapman Partnership Chapman Partnership operates two Homeless Assistance Centers with 800 beds located in Miami and Homestead.
