Feb. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Independence Title Launches a Can Collection Program To Aid Hungry Families “The We Can Do It Can Collection Program is something I’m proud of.  It will assure that a good many people in South Florida will have the luxury of not going to bed hungry.” said Kevin Tacher Founder and CEO of Independence Title.

In partnership with LifeNet4Families, formally known as the Cooperative Feeding Program serving Fort Lauderdale’s hungry families with much needed food, Tacher endeavors to make a indelible change.  “It’s such an honor to serve the people of this area with resources we get from the community.  It’s a group effort to say the least.” Tacher added.  In 2013 Tacher was named Vice Chair on the LifeNet4Families Board of Directors.

The We Can Do It Can Collection Program is simple.  It’s a can exchange program dedicated to feed those who are hungry and unable to obtain enough food to feed their families in South Florida.  Donation cans will be distributed in and around the Fort Lauderdale area.  Each can will outline what specific donation amounts will buy.   For instance, a suggested donation amount of seven dollars will feed a family for an entire month.

“The seven dollar donation is an excellent way for children to get involved in helping families.”  Tacher said of the donation effort.  “Parents could help their children see the benefit in giving the money they’ve earned doing odd jobs to help people outside their normal area of influence.  And for seven dollars, that’s doable.”

From the base amount of seven dollars the donation amounts increase and so does the amount of food LifeNet4Families is able to give.  For a donation of two hundred and fifty dollars a pallet of food can be purchased that will feed 850 people in South Florida. A donation of twenty-five hundred dollars will feed thousands with a van full of food.  And five thousand dollars will feed an entire community for a day.

Tacher, used his expertise in the marketplace to initiate the can program for the area’s hungry.  He is known as “The Title King” and is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Independence Title, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale.  Additionally he is the author of  “Title Insurance Tips and Secrets” and "SOLD" and a motivational speaker.  His company is  a leading source for title insurance, real estate mobile applications, and up to date real estate information and education. Kevin values community relationships and is involved with LifeNet4Families, formally known as the Cooperative Feeding Program of Broward County.
