National Entrepreneurship Conference Headed Back to Chicago in 2013

NORMAL, Ill. - March 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO) National Conference will be back in Chicago, October 31st through November 2nd.  In 2012, the event featured over 80 entrepreneurial speakers and just under 1,400 attendees.  The conference is open to everyone and focuses on entrepreneurship and venture creation.

The three day event will include the National Elevator Pitch Competition, keynote and breakout sessions, a mentor room, networking events, hands-on workshops, Student Entrepreneur of the Year awards, a Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and much more.  The National Elevator Pitch Competition is a highly anticipated event that will feature 60 finalists competing for the $3,500 first prize and the recognition and exposure that comes with winning the award.  

For the second year in a row, the Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in downtown Chicago.  The event was in Fort Worth, Texas in 2011 and will be traveling to Orlando, Florida in 2014.  

CEO is a nonprofit organization that supports and creates young entrepreneurs.  There are many opportunities for those who want to get involved in the upcoming event.  Speaker applications are currently being accepted for entrepreneurs who want to give back and share their knowledge and experience with students and future business owners.  Program advertisements are also being offered for the first time in the conference's history and there are still sponsorship opportunities.  For more information on any of these opportunities, contact CEO@c-e-o.org.
