Follow on Google News | 2014 CEO Virtual Startup Simulation Challenge ResultsThe 2014 competition saw many changes and a 30% increase in teams over last year. Thanks to a sponsorship by Innovative Learning Solutions, creators of Marketplace® USF St. Petersburg student Lazar Anderson was a team member in each of the three championship teams. “Each year is an intense experience, and we always come out of it better entrepreneurs. Winning this competition has done incredible things for our University and the students in our entrepreneurship program.” 2014 Results: 1st: University of South Florida – St. Petersburg 2nd: Willow International Center 3rd: University of South Alabama Honorable Mention: Brigham Young University – Idaho The USFSP team included Lazar Anderson, Andrew DeFraties, Liz Powers, Christa Hegedus, and Kevin Mircovich. USFSP will receive a prize check of $500, Willow International Center and Brigham Young University – Idaho will both receive $250. The top three teams will be recognized on stage at the 2014 CEO National Conference in Orlando, which will be held October 30 – November 1.
