The section on common ectopic heart beats (PVCs and PACs), is a subject that is also covered within a chapter of the section regarding heart problems associated with thyroid diseases as well but with added viewpoints.

It is important to note that according to thyroid disease medical sources, including the AACE (American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists), half of the American population with thyroid disease, remained undiagnosed and this number is in the tens-of-millions and tremendously higher when worldwide statistics are considered. This is why I have included the section regarding heart conditions that are thyroid disease related.

The information presented, can be of importance to anyone who is seeking to be heart-healthier and who is seeking to recognize signs and symptoms of the cardiac conditions that are discussed and treatments that are recommended/administered for them.

I have endeavored to provide a good general educational resource on these common conditions affecting cardiac function, with some being benign and others being potentially serious or even life-threatening. It is my sincere hope that readers find helpful information within the pages of this book.
