July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- 'Ultimately, I want my work to transcend time and be passed down from generation to generation,” shares author, educator and the newest member of Hartford’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2013!, Brandon Frame in the article that was just published .  The announcement officially published (http://www.hartfordbusiness.com/article/20130719/PRINTEDITION/307199962) on July 22nd is an incredible honor bestowed upon only the most outstanding business leaders in the greater Hartford community. Recognized as a master of his respective industry, Brandon is deeply admired throughout the business community for his work that includes his book, “Define Yourself, Redefine the World: A Guided Journal for Black Men and Boys” that was recently picked up as part of Baltimore City College curriculum for their African-American men’s program. He’s also the Founder of The Black Man Can Institute, The Black Man Can Awards, TheBlackManCan.org as well as Final Frames, a line of men’s neckwear.  

"I'm truly humbled by this honor. It is great to be mentioned with so many individuals making positive contributions to our community. This honor serves as constant reminder to me to continue doing the work. If we all do our part in our corner of the world, we ultimately make it a better place,” says Frame.

The Hartford-based, Morehouse grad is also responsible for the curriculum, theme integration and business partnerships at High School Inc., in Hartford. It’s safe to say, Brandon Frame is blazing a trail that many others can surely follow.  

Brandon has been featured in countless media outlets such as JET Magazine, Afro.com, BlackEnterprise.com, CNN Money and Uptown Magazine, just to name a few because of his book and the positive difference he’s making in the lives of young men of color globally.

The awards ceremony will take place in Hartford on September 23rd.  The current issue of the Hartford Business Journal is available on newsstands now.
