New Romantic Comedy, dealing with Low Self Esteem, to debut in New York City on July 31st at ReRun

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, July 31^st, 2013, ReRun Theater will host a Double Feature movie night, featuring a showing of Monkey Gang: The Mockumentary (2011 Hollywood Black Film Festival Official Selection) and the New York City debut of “Surprise, Surprise!!!” a new romantic comedy feature film, by first time Writer, Producer and Director, Crosby Tatum, as part of a Dinner and a Movie event, Presented by New York Independent Arts, in association with Chicken & Beef TV, A.N.S. Music, and Triceptus Studios.  

In addition to the cast & crew of Monkey Gang: The Mockumentary attending, Surprise, Surprise!!! Executive Producer & Director Crosby Tatum, and lead actress, J.D. Achille, will be in attendance for a Q&A Discussion following the films.

“Surprise, Surprise!!!” is a feature length romantic comedy conceptualized by Tatum and his writing partner, Jacquin Holland, that tells the story of Crosby Tylor, a smart but socially under-confident college student who tricks his womanizing best friend and roommate, J, into dating a beautiful, charming internet girl named Cynthia Simpson, for a class project, in order to save himself from losing his full scholarship and getting kicked out of school.  The film is loosely based on Tatum’s real life struggles dealing with social under-confidence and anxiety issues when meeting new women.

WHAT: Double feature: The NYC Premiere of feature length film, Surprise, Surprise!!!, a romantic comedy about a smart but socially underconfident college student’s who tricks his womanizing best friend into dating an internet girl to save his grades and his scholarship, and Monkey Gang: The Mockumentary, a parody of the current state of hip hop.
