"Confused"...by Love heads to Roxbury for Film Festival

BOSTON - June 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Filmmaker Crosby Tatum's second feature film, "Confused...by Love" will screen at the 18^th edition of the Roxbury International Film Festival on Friday, June 24^th, 2016 at 6:00pm.  Members of the cast and crew are scheduled to be in attendance for the screening and for the duration of the entire film festival.

Produced on a minimal budget, and shot for six straight days in the Dorchester/Roxbury area of Boston, MA, Confused...by Love tells the story of Ferguson (Keith Mascoll) and Tiffany Marie Middlebecker (Jamie M. Perez), a newlywed couple whose marriage is suddenly on the rocks, as they both find themselves broke, and about to lose their lovely home to sudden foreclosure.  Hope, however, comes in the form of Reggie Maxwell (Simba Dibinga), Ferguson's former best friend, and Jo-Jo (Jordan Lloyd), Ferguson ex-girlfriend, who both pop out of nowhere to help Ferguson and Tiffany out, if they can stay at their home for a few days.

"To me, Confused...by Love represents a point in our lives when we love our significant other, and when times get rough, we don't necessarily know how to handle the situation as it compounds our normalcy and often allows us to question if the situation we are in, is "right," or if it is "wrong," Tatum explains.

Since premiering the film at the 2015 Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in Atlanta, GA and winning the festival's Audience Award, Tatum and company have been showcasing the film in select cities and countries worldwide.  It's most recent screening occurred in Cannes, France as part of the International Pan African Film Festival.  The 18^th edition of the Roxbury International Film Festival features a diverse line-up of films including 9 Rides (SXSW Official Selection), How to Tell You're a Douchebag (Sundance Film Festival Official Selection), among many others.
