Clowns for parties are not the same as a Smartie Artie children's entertainer for parties.

DUNSTABLE, U.K. - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Smartie Artie is really funny but is not a clown in the pure sense.For a start we do not wear clown make-up .The reason is children and even some adults find it scary! Yes we have a funny suit that is clown like but we are children's entertainers not clowns.

Smartie Artie knows how to make them all laugh of that you can be sure but it never is the circus style slapstick involving a messy act with water and custard pies which is great for circus but not so brilliant in someones house.It is also a matter of scale.When a clown appears on stage or in circus ring there is a distance between the audience and the clown so the use of make up is not so threatening and use of big props and messy routines is ok but if you transfer that to all to child's birthday party it is all a bit much.

Smartie Artie has a program full of variety including comedy magic, balloon modelling,puppets and games.
