Fulfilling Dreams through Entrepreneurship: Interview with Ash Kumra

According to professor emeritus Dave Kohl (http://www.goalsgonesocial.com/ggs2/blogs/write_down_goals), people who regularly write down their goals earn nine times as much over their lifetimes as people who don’t.  DreamItAlive (http://dreamitalive.com/) is a social network that allows users to map out their goals and dreams, and network with others through what they are trying to accomplish to be more successful.

Ash Kumra is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of DreamItAlive.  The idea was started by a co-founder who strongly believed in the power of goal boards and who wanted to create a digital version so anyone in the world could post their own dreams and view others while working together to achieve those dreams and goals.

Dream It Alive Dream Big Campaign

DreamItAlive is launching a national Dream Big Campaign on September 20^th.  They are hoping to inspire others to live their dreams while using their website as the tool to get them there.  DreamItAlive has partnered with Microsoft, Jack Canfield, CEO, and others for the campaign that will be hosted on IndieGoGo.  The founders are asking for people to view their video, share with others, and contribute if possible.

2013 CEO National Conference

For the second consecutive year, Ash Kumra has agreed to speak at the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) National Conference in Chicago, October 31 – November 2.  Ash will be speaking about what is takes to become a conscious entrepreneur.  Many young entrepreneurs want to start businesses for toxic reasons – money, fame, power, etc.  Ash will be talking about how the best entrepreneurs tend to be those who are trying to solve actual problems and are in business for the right reasons.
