Fountain Valley, CA  (October 24, 2013)—The Fountain Valley (CA) Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its annual Business Awards for 2013.  The nominations will include two new categories including Home-Based Business of the year and New Business of the Year. These will be added to the three categories presented in 2012 which were Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Spirit Award and Environmentally Conscious Business of the Year.

The nomination period for the 2013 awards begins November 1, 2013 and closes January 17, 2014.

The Awards will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Business Awards luncheon to be held on February 25, 2014 at the Los Caballeros Racquet and Sports Club in Fountain Valley.

The nominations are judged by a panel of independent judges from the community selected by the Chamber of Commerce.

Recipients of the 2012 Business Awards from the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce included Mimi’s Jewelry for Community Spirit, Excelsius Academy for Entrepreneur of the Year, and Rainbow Disposal for the Environmentally Conscious award.
