Ripon, WI – Thursday, January 9th -  Discovery Preschool, located at 222 Blossom Street, is selling toilet paper and paper towels at discount prices to friends, families, and local businesses to raise money to continue their high quality early childhood educational program. Discovery Preschool was established in 1957 and currently provides service to 40 plus families in the Ripon area.

Instead of cookie dough, wrapping paper, magazines or other traditional fundraising products, the Discovery Preschool is selling things people actually need - toilet paper and paper towels.  They’re hoping to raise a good amount of money by selling Heavenly Soft brand-name products at a deep discount to grocery store pricing.

“We are so excited to run this program,” said Jamie Dragolovich, Board President.  “It’s truly great pricing for products people need and environmentally friendly, practical, and manufactured out of Green Bay.  We’re hoping families and businesses in our community will take the opportunity to stock up on these products.  Everyone saves money and we raise money!  We’re not asking for handouts or for people to buy things they don’t need; we’re just asking people to take part in a great deal and help out our Preschool at the same time.”

All products are sold by the case and pricing starts at about $.29 per roll for toilet paper and $1.07 per roll of paper towels which is comparable or better than the grocery store pricing most consumers are used to paying.  They also have a larger 500 sheet individually wrapped roll available which is perfect for business or home for $.52 per roll, a deep discount compared other similar products.  A case of 30 paper towel rolls will cost you $32 and a case of 96 toilet rolls will cost you $28.  The business roll has 500 sheets and are individually wrapped for $50 a case.  The school raises between $6-$8 dollars per case sold.

Fundraising company, PaperFunds, is helping Discovery Preschool organize the fundraiser. Please email or mail forms in by January 28^th, Tuesday to Discovery Preschool at P.O. Box 135, Ripon, WI 54971.
