Follow on Google News | Slaton Youth Baseball League Raising Money With Paper Products, Batteries, and Trash Bag FundraiserBy: Slaton Youth Baseball The league’s fundraising coordinator, Brian Jeffcoat, is excited to add more practical products to their line-up. “Once again, our plan is to save families money on necessities and everyday products they plan to purchase anyway. The fact that we can raise money for our league at the same time makes this an obvious choice for a fundraiser. We had great success with this fundraiser last year and with the additional products we can offer this year we are hoping to increase the money we earn to benefit the league.” This is a unique fundraiser that focuses on selling products people need at prices that beat the grocery stores. In order to be a huge success, the league is hoping that the whole community will participate again this year by stocking up on products they need. The players and their families will be reaching out to friends, families, and local businesses asking them to stock up on these necessities. Supporters can also purchase these much needed products through the league for South Plains Food Bank benefitting the community and the league. Slaton Youth Baseball has been helping our children learn the great sport of baseball and softball since 1962. Support from the community has made a huge difference in the success of the program. The sales drive starts April 12 and the league will take orders through May 3 with product delivery at the end of May. Orders can be handled through any Slaton Youth Baseball player or contact the fundraising coordinator, Brian Jeffcoat at 806-241-0731 (cfdrookie@yahoo.com) with questions. Samples of paper products available. Florida- Contact: Brian Jeffcoat 200 S. 8th Street Slaton, TX 79364 806-241-0731 End
