2014 OHS/OYF Partnership Announced

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. - June 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Oconomowoc Youth Football (OYF) is announcing a partnership with Oconomowoc High School (OHS) that will include moving all OYF 7th and 8th grade games for 2014 and beyond to the newly renovated Ed Rux Stadium at Oconomowoc High School.

"OASD is excited to be a part of a renewed partnership with OYF that will help lead us to future athletic successes. We are moving one step closer to our desire to have a seamless program" said Scott Raduka, OHS Athletic Director.

"We are very grateful to renew our partnership with the Oconomowoc High School Athletic Department" said Gary Wipperman, OYF president.  "As we are all Raccoons I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for both programs.

On behalf of the players and families of OYF, I wish to thank Joseph Moylan, OHS Principal, Scott Raduka, Athletic Director, Matt Newman, OASD Manager of Buildings and Grounds, and Head Football Coach Ryan McMillen for their encouragement and support of this partnership.

I also wish to offer a special thank you to Andrew Mikulak, 8th Grade Purple Head Coach, for his vision and teamwork with OHS to make this idea a reality. This partnership will benefit the Oconomowoc football program and our community for years to come."

The 7th grade games will have a 3:00pm kickoff and 8th grade will begin at 4:30pm for the 2014 season.
