R&B Singer Glenn Jones Receives Herb Kent Music Icon Award

R&B singer Glenn Jones is the recipient of the 2014 Stepaganza Herb Kent Music Icon Award.  This honor is given annually in recognition of legendary Rhythm & Blues artists, groups, owners, disc jockeys and anyone connected to the recording industry that have excelled at their craft and endured over 30 years. The Award is dedicated and named after the longstanding career of Award winning and History making Hall of Fame Chicago Disc Jockey Herb Kent whose career spans over 70 years and counting. Jones accepted the award in front of 3000 fans and supporters at the St. Louis based 2014 Annual Stepaganza, which pays homage to the Legends of Chicago Steppin’.  In addition to Glenn Jones, soul singer Bobby Hutton was also a recipient.

         For over three decades Grammy nominated vocalist, Glenn Jones, has been sharing his extraordinary talent with his fans around the world.  The soulful R&B singer, rooted with a strong gospel background, is most known for his chart topping hits “We’ve Only Just Begun”, “Show Me”, “Here I Go Again”, and “I’ve Been Searching”.  His repertoire of music spans from pop and R&B, to jazz and gospel allowing him to share the stage with many music legends including Aretha Franklin, James Cleveland and Dionne Warwick to name a few.  Currently, Glenn’s vocals can be heard on the smooth R&B single “All Because of  You”.  For more information, please contact The KAMDI Group at tonya@thekamdigroup.com.
