L.A. Wolves FC™ Announce Membership into United Premier Soccer League as New Team Member

TORRANCE, Calif. - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- August 12, 2014 – Torrance, CA – The L.A. Wolves FC (UPSL) announced today that the L.A. Wolves FC™ (www.LAwolvesFC.com) have joined the UPSL and are officially a new team member of the Western Conference for the upcoming 2014/15 UPSL Season. The UPSL currently consists of two divisions covering Los Angeles County which includes Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire.

The 2014/15 UPSL season kicks off September 20, 2014. The L.A. Wolves FC™ maintains team offices in Torrance, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.

Yan Skwara, CEO/President of L.A. Wolves FC stated, “Being the L.A. Wolves were the first Professional soccer team in the LA market going back to 1966, we felt bringing back the team and the name is important as the Wolves are truly are an important part of American Soccer History and the development of the sport in this country. With that being said, we are excited to bring back L.A. Wolves soccer to the LA market and be an active member of the UPSL which is a starting point for the club as we embark on a mission to rebuild this great L.A. Wolves soccer tradition. We look forward to the new challenges both on and off the field as the UPSL offers the perfect platform to launch the club back into the market as we have some exciting additional announcements to make over the coming weeks and months. Our training camp begins next week as we have lots of players to look at in a short period of time so we will be very busy assembling our squad over the coming weeks.
