By: Weininger Irwin Carnival Fitness Fiesta at Becontree Leisure Centre Still to come this month as part of the Black History Month celebrations, Becontree Leisure Centre is holding a big event that’s set to take the borough by storm. It's a two-part SOCA vs RAGGA Notting Hill Carnival Aerobics Class – and if that sounds intriguing – it is! The first session starts in the sports hall at 1pm with Weininger and a fellow instructor leading the fun, and there's an evening session starting at 8pm where Weininger will be taking the class alongside his SOCA queen fitness instructor and former world karate champion Janice Irwin. Anyone who adores working out in carnival style will be in for a treat! Saturday Night Out And if all that wasn’t enough Weininger also made his regular appearance at Saturday Night Out in Islington on the 25th. The monthly event is a youth project for 13-19 year olds who are invited to join in a range of sports and activities including football, basketball, roller skating, trampolining, ice skating and lots more. There's also a talent zone for would-be stars to showcase their talent. Weininger attends to get the kids all geed up in his official capacity as crowd warmer. It's held at the Sobell Leisure Centre in Islington and any young people aged 13-19 are welcome to attend. Anyone wishing to hire Weininger for an event as host, compere, crowd warmer, MC, DJ or special inspirational guest should call 020 8252 3864 or 07958 655 421 or email info@weiningers.com.
