Ethernet based welding camera now available

TORONTO - Jan. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Invisual E.  Inc. is pleased to announce the offer of compact Ethernet welding camera systems as a tool for improving welding automation and quality control.

The ICAM.WIP welding camera system extends the operator’s view of the weld zone by providing real time display and capture of the weld arc. Setup, remote guidance, inspection, process control, quality and operator health and safety are prime rea­sons for the ICAM in welding automation.

Some of the most common reasons for a company installing a weld camera is to remove the operator from the immediate work environment.  In recent years, there has been a strong movement towards making the working environment a better place to work.

As a setup tool a few examples include, the weld camera gives a view of the weld torch for pre-start weld position and measuring wire stick out length.  As a run time and training tool, the welding camera allows for viewing the arc, puddle, degree of weld spatter and position.  For customers requiring quality assurance and traceability, the ICAM welding camera records images and video to disk.

The system comprises of a Ethernet based compact controller with:
