Marc Bourdages Joins Partner's Equity Team

PASADENA, Calif. - Feb. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Industry veteran Marc Bourdages has joined Partner Engineering and Science Inc. (Partner), a national engineering, environmental and energy consulting firm headquartered in Torrance, California, as Technical Director of the Investment Advisory Group with the acquisition of Foresite Advisory Services, LLC, of which he was Principal and Owner.

In this role, Bourdages will provide specialized acquisition and facilities services catering to institutional and private equity real estate investors. Through this acquisition, Partner further expands its already large equity division to continue to meet the demands of a growing investment market.

In today’s tighter underwriting climate, institutional investors with a healthy balance sheet are dominating much of the activity in the CRE investment space, seeking to take advantage of favorable market conditions and spread risk through stable investments that match long-term liabilities and defy inflation.

Bourdages’ 30+ years of experience in the architectural, design and construction fields and knowledge of the dynamics of investment real estate enable him to identify and adequately quantify risk and opportunity associated with the condition of any property. Bourdages’ particular focus within real estate acquisition and disposition advisory services will be to provide detailed property assessments and both design and technical guidance for major capital improvement projects. His broad experience and expertise includes owners’ rep services, plans and specifications review, construction monitoring services and project management services applied to a range of asset classes including multi-family, retail, hospitality and industrial properties.

As Principal of Foresite Advisory Services, LLC. Bourdages oversaw the completion of over 6 billion dollars of commercial real estate transactions working with numerous real estate investment entities, including prominent commercial real estate firms such as American Realty Advisors, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE.

Bourdages is a regular attendee of the annual A&E conference events organized by the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM), where he actively participates in topical discussions pertaining to relevant issues affecting institutional real estate acquisitions. NAREIM aims to facilitate dialogue between key members of the institutional real estate community, to foster collaboration and further best practices in the industry, and also serves as an advisory body to government and other professional associations.

Bourdages has a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Interior Architecture) from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and has guest lectured on numerous occasions to MBA candidates at the University of Southern California’s Lusk School for Real Estate.
