Breaking Bread ATL Vs. Breaking Bread BC For Day Of Friendly Competition

WASHINGTON - April 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Saturday, April 18, will bring artists, advocates and philanthropists a double dose of Breaking Bread as Bleu Royalty, Pro. and Will Rap 4 Food, Inc., host installments of the volunteer event in both Atlanta, Georgia and Washington DC simultaneously. Organizers hope to spark a friendly competition to pack thousands of meals for the needy.

Both events will be held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Atlanta edition will take place at Suite Food Lounge located at 375 Luckie St., and the Washington DC edition will be held at Touché Lounge located at 1123 H St. NE.

Breaking Bread began in February of 2014 with 60 volunteers packaging 900 meals. It has since brought out hundreds of volunteers eager to assist in the cause, yielding thousands of meals.

Previous meal distributions have been made to clients of Martha’s Table and residents of New York Avenue Men’s Shelter, Community for Creative Non-Violence Shelter and directly to the homeless.
