July 27, 2015 (Fountain Valley, CA)--The Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors for the 2015 Chamber of Commerce Awareness Month to be held during October, 2015.  The month-long program will feature several events aimed at attracting area consumers to retail stores and shopping centers; introducing residents to the services available at the Fountain Valley City Hall, and ending with the Mayor’s Social at the end of October.

“This is going to be an exciting month-long event to tell the residents and businesses of Fountain Valley what the Chamber of Commerce is and does in our community. We are here to help our businesses prosper, and these events are planned to engage the consumers with the businesses in a fun way,” said Mary Parsons, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce.

The events planned include a “Barbeque with the Mayor” open to all residents of the city during an Open House at City Hall (Mayor Steve Nagel will actually be barbecuing for those that attend); two separate events at local shopping centers with activities for kids, food, beverages and prizes, and the Mayor’s Social at the end of the month.

“The sponsorships will give our local Chamber members a great opportunity to not only support the Chamber, but to extend their marketing into the general public since most of the advertising and marketing for these events are geared towards the general public,” said Parsons.  Sponsors will receive marketing and advertising exposure prior to, during and after the events.
