City View Pharmacy's Community Wellness Program ™ Presents Free / No Cost* Mammograms

ASTORIA, N.Y. - Aug. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- City View Pharmacy is once again partnering with the American Italian Cancer Foundation to provide free, life-saving mammogram screenings as a part of CITY VIEW PHARMACY'S COMMUNITY WELLNESS PROGRAM™. Appointments will be taken throughout October, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the screening event will be on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Testing takes place inside the AICF's Mobile Mammogram Unit parked outside City View Pharmacy at 23-07 Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, NY.

The screenings are provided by the American Italian Cancer Foundation at no cost to participants. To be eligible, women must be:
1) a NYC resident;
2) age 40 or older WITH health insurance; OR age 50 or older WITHOUT health insurance;
3) and have not had a mammogram in the past year.

Women can register for an appointment by calling City View Pharmacy at 718-545-2550 OR sign up online at cityviewpharmacy.com. Appointments are limited and given on a "first-come, first-served" basis, so those interested are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
