Only one more week until 'Give Peace a Chance' event!

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Oct. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- There’s still time to get tickets to DRCWM’s second annual event celebration of International Conflict Resolution Day from our Eventbrite site. (Visit our website and click the graphic on the home page.)

The celebration is on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 7-9 pm at the B.O.B.-EVE, 20 Monroe Ave. NW in Grand Rapids, Mich. Tickets are $35 per person. The event's theme is ‘Give Peace a Chance,’ and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite ’60s fashion.

After a rigorous review of several nominations for our Peacemaker Awards, we are pleased to announce that we are recognizing Peter Letzmann and Judge William Kelly as our two outstanding peacemakers for 2015. Both are champions of mediation and are highly respected members of our community.

DRCWM serves seven Michigan counties: Kent, Ionia, Lake, Montcalm, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Osceola. Its services bring groups and individuals together to create their own solution for a win-win resolution in the workplace, schools, communities, and in the home. DRCWM is part of a network of independent Michigan community dispute resolution centers.

The 501(c)3 nonprofit's mission is to "bring peaceful resolution to conflict by providing expert and affordable mediation services."
