Eberhard & Co. Rewards Winners At “raid Dell’etna”

DIFC, UAE - Nov. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The 18th edition of the Raid dell'Etna, which drew in 80 vintage cars from 6 different countries, came to an end after taking the drivers and their vintage cars through an enchanting drive through some of the most scenic landscapes in Sicity. The real stars of the gruelling event were of course the venerable old models predating 1969, who showed off their paces with the best of them. Special tributes were also paid to the classic and modern Porsches who made it to the rally.

Eberhard & Co., have been one of the major players on the old-timers’ scene for over 20 years, was the Official Timekeeper for the 50 trials and awarded the winners with its most sought-after trophies, the “Trofeo Eberhard& Co.” and the “the Eberhard & Co. Ladies’ Cup”.

Two Tazio Nuvolari chronographs went to Mario Crugnola and Edvige De Vitto on a Lancia Fulvia HF1600 (1971), the best crew coming first in the regularity race. Two elegant Gilda models were awarded to the overall female winners of the Ladies’ Cup - Ornella Pietropaolo and Edvige De Vitto, on the same Lancia Fulvia HF 1600 (1971) - which took place at night in the historic centre of Catania:.

For the “Grand Tour” of Sicily, Eberhard & Co. presented the “Tazio Nuvolari 336”, the first “dual time” of the TazioNuvolari collection, produced in a limited edition of 336 pieces dedicated to the world speed record achieved by the driver on the Firenze-Mare motorway in 1935.
