Country Artists Invited to Join Us on the Ride

TORONTO - Dec. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search, launching January 1, 2016, will provide numerous opportunities for musicians from communities across Ontario, while bringing together an understanding of how communities support musicians.

Ontario artists, over the age of 19, are invited to submit their applications in January 2016. Once approved, artists’ original live performance and community and nature inspired stories will be uploaded onto The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search website. People from across the globe are encouraged to vote for their favorite performers.

“We hear from numerous artists, on a regular basis from across the province, who are looking for knowledge on how to expand their opportunities to perform live in front of industry representatives and request help obtaining bookings.  By creating The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search, we help identify the talented artists who can go on to be the stars of tomorrow. Emerging artists will have the chance to network, collaborate and share their experiences while being exposed to music industry professionals who are active within the local and international music scene.

The Top 5 winners of The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search will advance to an industry supported live performance event at Hugh’s Room in Toronto, Ontario on March 3, 2016. Industry judges will be announced soon.
