Back Roads Country Talent Search Announces Top 5 Finalists

TORONTO - Feb. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search, created by Catherine Faint Entertainment Inc., launched online on January 1, 2016. This unique country talent search provides opportunities for musicians from across Ontario while bringing together an understanding of how communities and nature inspire their musical journey.

Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search would like to congratulate the following top 5 artists: Dean Young/ Fort Erie, Anthony Tullo/Oakville, Rich Cloke/Burlington, Instant Rivalry/Prince Edward County and South of 7/Belleville for obtaining the highest number of online votes. These top 5 artists will perform live in front of industry judges at The Ontario Back Roads Top 5 Finale event at Hugh’s Room on Thursday, March 3^rd, 2016.  The live performances begin at 6:00 p.m.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the tremendous industry support, quality of artist submissions and the number of online votes,” says Cindy Sutch, Catherine Faint Entertainment. The Ontario Back Roads Country Online Talent Search received over one quarter of a million online votes.

The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search winner will be determined by the following industry judges:

Cathie Faint, Owner of CFE Inc., 2^nd Vice President of the Country Music Association of Ontario Board of Directors and 5 time Booking Agent of the Year award recipient.

Jennifer Goheen, Director of Marketing and Events, Havelock Jamboree, Canada’s largest live country music and camping festival.

Kathryn Hummel, President of Hummel Entertainment, extensive knowledge in the music industry, recently joined forces with Royalty Records, a full-service record label that has signed a distribution deal with Sony Music Canada.

Jenna Hunter, Director of Public Relations at Casino Rama, one of Ontario’s premier entertainment destinations, responsible for all external communications, reputation management, social media as well as the company’s corporate social responsibility program, Casino Rama Cares.

Tony Tarleton, General Manager of Maple Music Recordings/Fontana North, one of Canada’s premiere Independent Labels and Distributors.

The grand winner will receive a prize package valued at over $15,000.00.

The Top 5 Finale is open to the public. Please note seating is limited. Tickets and meals must be purchased in advance at Hugh’s Room in Toronto.
