Dec. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- After week 11s series of results in Texas Premier Soccer League land, the league is certainly getting spicy as we see only eight points separating the top six clubs.

Brownsville Bravos were able to hang on to top spot thanks to their 4-2 victory on the road to a spirited San Antonio Generals.

The Bravos opened the scoring on 39 minutes thanks to Carlos Pedraza but the home side pegged them back to 1-1 just before the half time break after Jorge Coronado scored his teams equalizer.

Franco Rivera scored his fifth of the season for the visitors on 62 minutes to open the lead up again for the Bravos and eight minutes later Gerson Padraza joined his brother on the scoresheet to give his side a two-goal advantage entering into the last 20 minutes of play.

However, San Antonio weren't out of the game just yet as Gilbert Molan found the back of the net on 82 minutes to set up a nerve jangling final 8 minutes but it wasn't to be for the home side as Julio Perez once again opened the lead to two goals less than 120 second later to finally quash the Generals uprising.

Dallas Clash are still unbeaten in the league and after the 1-0 win over ARC, remain in second spot, right on the coat tails of the league leaders. The Dallas side have a couple of games in hand over Bravos so remain confident that they can regain the top placement.

Houston Hurricanes jumped from fifth to third after clinching a 3-1 win over Lonestrikers but had to come from behind to do so.

After losing a goal just before half time, the Hurricanes struck back thanks to a Luc Myler goal, who incidentally was playing his last match for the Hoops before returning to Ireland.

Mikey Lopez added the Hurricanes second 20 minutes before the end and hotshot Blane Nauck added the third for his side to take the points.

Blane now finds himself on 10 goals for the season and leads the race for the Golden Boot.

After this loss and results elsewhere, the Lonestrikers drop to sxth spot.

Twin Cities are also back in the mix after winning 3-0 on the road to Temple, taking them equal on points with Lonestrikers but with better goal difference, they now host fifth place in the table only one point behind ARC above them but with two games in hand over last years champs.

Jose Luis Chavez became Twin Cities ninth different goalscorer for the season when he opened the scoring in the opening half against Temple United. MVP Luis Hernandez grabbed his sides second to ease the pressure for the Eagle Pass team before Fernando Israel Martinez reacted quickest to a penalty rebound, to knock home his sides third and final goal of the game.

No change with the bottom two clubs San Antonio Generals or Temple United whose form has improved from the early stages of the season, but are both still finding it difficult to gain any traction with results.
