In addition to Player Safety Coach, Dobson will also assume a seat on the Oconomowoc Youth Football Board of Directors. "Dave is a great addition to our leadership team" said Gary Wipperman, OYF President. " In addition to his expertise in the medical field and background with concussion research, Dave is a dad and a coach. This move strengthens our team tremendously and reinforces our continued commitment to the safety of the children in our organization.” “I’m thrilled to be joining the OYF Board of Directors as the Player Safety Coach and I look forward to working with all of our great kids, coaches and parents” said Dobson. “Player safety is a top priority of this program and I’m committed to helping keep all of our kids safe as they learn the game and develop on the field.” Dobson succeeds Ben Schwandt as Player Safety Coach. "I wish to thank Ben for his efforts in the 2015 season. He had a difficult role as this is a new position for the organization. Ben has done a great job in paving the way for OYF to continue elevating the safety of our players above all other priorities." Dobson’s two children, David and Matthew, will be 8th and 6th grade players for the Bandits in the 2016 season. End
