Ontario Back Roads Country Semi-Finalists Announced!

Jan. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- January 27, 2016 - Toronto, ON - The Ontario Back Roads Country Talent Search, created by Catherine Faint Entertainment, launched on January 1, 2016. Artists from across the province were invited to share their story and original song onto our website. This unique country talent search provides industry connections and opportunities for musicians, while sharing their insight on how communities and nature inspire their musical journey.

The top 5 artists, with the most votes, will advance to an industry supported live showcase event at Hugh’s Room on March 3, 2016.  A panel of industry judges will select and announce the grand prize winner, following the performances, to a live audience.  The event is open to the public. Along with being awarded Ontario’s Back Roads Country Talent winner, the recipient will receive a prize package valued at over $15,000.00. Prizes include a video shoot, showcase opportunity at Country Music Association of Ontario, tickets to the CMAO award show, a performance spot at Manitoulin Country Fest, radio interviews, $500.00 in cash, mentoring from industry professionals, radio interviews and a personal phone call from Tebey.
