South Shore Chamber names Julie Williams as Membership Development, Marketing and Events Manager

ROCKLAND, Mass. - Jan. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- The South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org), the region’s largest Chamber announces that Julie Williams of Marshfield, Massachusetts has been promoted to Membership Development, Marketing and Events Manager.

In this role, Williams will focus on increasing the membership of and creating a prospect plan for the South Shore Chamber.

Williams, who prior to her promotion was the Chamber’s Programming and Events Manager, is a graduate of Stonehill College.  Before joining the South Shore Chamber of Commerce in the spring of 2015, Williams was Senior Marketing Manager with the fitness technology franchise Koko FitClub LLC in Rockland; previously she was the Sales & Marketing Consultant leading the launch of Edible South Shore Magazine in Kingston.

Williams is proactive in creating awareness of Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis and fundraising for a cure for these inflammatory bowel diseases.  She also co-founded Gutsy Kids, an organization that empowers children with IBD and their families.

She resides in Marshfield with her husband and two children.
