The 2016 Josie Music Awards - A SOLD OUT SHOW!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - July 22, 2016 - PRLog -- The 2016 Josie Music Awards event set for September 18, 2016 in downtown Nashville, Tennessee sells out the Schermerhorn Symphony Center!   The prestigious Josie Music Awards is the largest, gala event for independent artists held in Nashville.  The Josie Music Awards organization selected the world renowned Schermerhorn Symphony Center Concert Hall, a much larger venue this year, and will again host an elaborate event dedicated to independent rising music stars, for a sold out crowd.

There is still a great amount of buzz around the inaugural Josie Music Awards that took place in 2015 and sold out the "The Springs" of the Gaylord Opryland Resort having to create 3 events in one day to host the large number of attendees. We asked Josie Passantino, Founder and Owner of The Josie Network, about last year's event and this year's award show event and here is what she told us, "Last year's event was the best day of my life (professionally speaking).  The event was like a dream come true for me to be able to celebrate the work of so many independent artists.  I wanted an event filled with love for music and the independent artist community. I received so much more than that!  The room was filled with love, happiness, excitement, camaraderie, and so much more.  I will never forget that amazing day.  So I had to do it again and bring everyone together in one big show.  That started with finding a larger venue and adding even more surprises to a wonderful night.  I want to make sure each nominee feels how special they are.  They contribute so much to the music industry and to our lives that they certainly deserve a special night just for them. We will have countless surprises for the attendees at this year's event. We are so proud to host an award show where the winners are selected by a panel of industry leaders with no connections to independent artists.  No voting!  So each independent artist has a fair chance, that is incredibly important to me."

The 2016 Josie Music Awards will begin at 4 pm with Red Carpet arrival and gathering.  Concert hall doors will open at 5:30 pm for seating and the ceremony will begin at 6 pm.  The ceremony will include more than 30 performances and 60 award presentations. The Schermerhorn Symphony Center will hold four levels of nominees, families, friends, music industry professionals, fans, and guests.
