Excellent Quality Sterling Silver Tiffany Dishes - Rare and Antique - On Sale for a LIMITED-TIME!

NEW YORK - July 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Pair of sterling silver serving dishes in Chrysanthemum pattern. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1892.

Each: shaped ovalish well with script monogram, curved sides with lobing and applied leaf band, and scalloped rim with the famous chrysanthemum blossoms alternating with leaves. A profusion of blossoms bunched at ends and wrapped around bracket handles.

A wonderful pair in the celebrated pattern, a New World interpretation of a Japanese motif, that was first produced in 1880. Hallmark includes director's letter T (1892-1902) and pattern no. 5931. Very nice condition and patina.

Dimensions: H 1 ¾ x W 16 1/8 x D 8 7/8 in. Total weight: 56 troy ounces.
