Follow on Google News | A New Way to Buy Succulents OnlineBy: harddy.com There's a new way to buy succulents online, and it's the first of it's kind. Harddy, the first online marketplace dedicated to succulents, is opening up soon and the two founders could not be more excited to tell you all about it. Christopher Grubbs and Joseph Gavica, co-founders of harddy.com, thought of the idea for an exclusive succulent marketplace on a random afternoon a few months back and rolled with it, not entirely sure where this road would lead. "We decided to start a Facebook page to connect with the community and see if it was actually something that people would embrace." says Grubbs. They created their facebook page and posted succulent decor and succulents images everyday, and the results came pouring in. "The level of engagement and shares from succulent fans was exciting," says Gavica. "We started with our own pictures and then started sharing community pictures; we were gaining momentum." When I Heart Succulents grew to over 2000 organic Facebook Fan Likes in a matter of two months, and a large percentage of users engaging with their posts, they realized they had something truly special. Grubbs and Gavica are no strangers to the succulent industry. "In 2013, I co-founded an ecommerce company selling succulents online," says Grubbs. "It started with the simple idea of supplying people with cuttings, but we quickly saw an opportunity to sell terrariums and bulk succulents for events." Grubbs and his partners eventually launched their own website and stores on popular large marketplaces on Amazon and Etsy. Gavica joined the team as a content manager. He created content for the website, wrote press releases, and really got to know the community. "They are so passionate; it's infectious," The business did not fully understand all of the challenges shipping live plants and glass containers across the country would entail. "The learning curves were massive," Grubbs recalls of his former company's first large succulent order. "It was an absolute nightmare." They did not forecast just how big the demand was for a reliable source of succulents online. "Over time, and with a lot of feedback we got it right," says Grubbs. "We figured out the optimal process for shipping succulents that is now the best in the industry." After a few years out of the succulent industry, Grubbs and Gavica find themselves back in, and excited as ever. "We are thrilled to create the first online marketplace for succulents," Harddy.com is actively looking for sellers and customers across the United States. To learn more, visit http://harddy.com End
