CARRHURE successfully filled the Senior Specialist, HSIS position for Gavi Alliance

PARIS - Oct. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Gavi the Vaccine Alliance appointed Mr. Ian Jeremy Slineyas Senior Specialist, Health Systems and Immunization Strengthening for the supply chain division.

Carrhure was retained by Gavi last February to fill 2 Senior Specialist, HSIS positions and after months of search, Mr. Sliney was one of the chosen candidates after screening more than 200 applicants.

Despite the challenges that Carrhure faced during the search, the team under the supervision of its Managing Director, Ms. Auree de Carbon, was able to champion all obstacles and fill the position with highly qualified and passionate candidates.

Ian  is  an  innovative  and  strategic  thinker with  over  30  years  of  experience working in  various  technical

and  programmatic  areas  assuring  the  increased  coverage  and  delivery  of  quality  health  interventions that reduce maternal and child mortality, including immunization. He has had extensive long and short-term   assignments   supervising   and   managing   the   setup   of   in-country   supply chain   and   systems strengthening  technical  assistance  programs  in  over  20  countries,  predominantly  in  Africa.  These are some his viable strengths that helped him win the Senior Specialist, HSIS role.
