By: Argolian Films Now a sophomore at Florida Gulf Coast University, the 19 year old Alexander directed the follow up film from his own script recruting seventy fellow students and friends, many of whom are studying Media/Film in college as well. Filming on the project began in May, with reshoots, editing, scoring, and additional post-production that wrapped earlier this month. In April, Alexander worked with the special effects team on the upcoming horror film "Mara," starring Bond girl, Olga ("Quantum of Solace") Kurylenko. "Mara" filmed on location in Savannah, Georgia, and is expected for theatrical release in 2017. Alexander is the fourth generation of a family connected to the cinema industry. His great-grandfather, Thomas Alexander, was a pioneer in motion picture cinemas in Pennsylvania from the nickelodeon era right up through the movie palace era of the 1930s. He also financed one reel silent comedies for Paramount Pictures. Peter's grandfather and father continued in the cinema industry through the 1980s. His father, Tom, is a screenwriter and film music composer, who co-scripted comedy legend, Leslie Nielsen's final film, the 2011 frat boy romp, "Stonerville." The film will be shown in a public screen at the Tamarac 5 Theatre, 10036 W. McNabb Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33321. It was produced by Alexander's own production company, Argolian Films (http://www.argolianfilms.com) in association with Earth Code Media, and Alexander Bros. Releasing.
