Favorable Resolution for Client Charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing in Criminal Court

NEW YORK - Feb. 20, 2017 - PRLog -- A client represented by the Law Firm of Michael J. Redenburg, Esq. PC received a favorable resolution of his criminal court case that was pending in Kings County Criminal Court.

The firm's client was criminally charged with NY PL121.11, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation; NY PL120.15, Menacing in the Third Degree; and NY PL240.26, Harassment in the Second Degree. More specifically, the person who lodged the complaint against the firm's client alleged that the client had applied his hands about her neck and applied pressure causing her to have difficulty breathing. The client was charged with numerous misdemeanor crimes and a violation.

The firm was able to reach a disposition for the client that consisted of the client completing classes as ordered by the Court and thereafter, the client pled guilty to a violation of Disorderly Conduct, not a crime. At the law firm's request, the Judge also Ordered that the case be immediately sealed so as not to cause the client any negative consequences at his place of employment.
