Follow on Google News | 70 Year Old Retired Police Detective Wants Congress To Investigate Hawaii Fed Judge SeabrightAllegations of Federal Court Corruption Haunt Hawaii Federal Judge.
Retired cop, JD Benish, author and executive editor for Codefore Publishing filed a request for a change of Venue with Judge Thomas, head judge for the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals alleging a Grand Jury was "squashed" by Hawaii Federal Judge Michael John Seabright. Benish said that after years of private journalistic investigation into the 1993 murder of 4 year old Hawaiian Princess Lacey Woolsey Ruff, in Late December of 2015 he filed a request for the empanelment of a Federal Grand Jury to investigate what he called "RICO" style corruption within the Criminal Justice System in Hawaii. Benish said that the little Ruff girl was murdered in 1993 and a young man named Aaron Schonlau was sentenced to life in prison based on the testimony of his older brother Todd Schonlau. However Benish said that in 2012 an Oregon woman who was dating Todd Schonalu told him that he confessed to her and that it was he, (Todd Schonlau) who actually murdered the 4 year old by drowning her in the Pacific Ocean and weighting her body so it would not be found.. "I couldn't understand why the police, nor the Attorney General, or anyone else was not interested in this confession." Benish said that some residents of Kauai and the "big island" contacted him with more complaints of inactions by the Justice system in Hawaii and that some of these actions involved theft, fraud and money laundering of millions of dollars involving some of the largest tax free foundations and banks in the country. Benish said that he filed a request with Judge Seabright to empanel a Grand Jury to investigate because it was obvious that local and State authorities wouldn't do it. Benish said that he presented his citizens Affidavit to Judge Seabright in late December 2015 and a week later the Judges Head clerk sent a letter to him stating that his request had been denied and that his documents and evidence were going to be destroyed. "I emailed Judge Seabright directly and pointed out to him that his refusal to empanel the Grand Jury was in violation of the 5th Amendment to the Constitution." "It turned out to be a big lie." Benish said. "There's no Grand Jury investigation because my request was s…t canned." Benish said that its apparent now that the corruption reaches to the Federal Court itself, who took it upon themselves to assume the position as prosecutor and deny an investigation that might result in indictments and arrests. Benish said that when Seabrigtht's clerk Lian Abernathy finally admitted via an email to him that she did not process his request, he took action. Benish said that Seabritht's court violated US Supreme Court Rules and violated Federal Criminal laws by "squashing " the request for a Grand Jury. "I filed a complaint with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals alleging that Seabright violiated the Judicial Code of Conduct and numerous Federal laws including the Federal RICO Act." On October 17th, Benish said that he filed a request with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals for a change of venue to a different District Court of Appeals or District.. "Incredibly Judge Seabrigtht is denying access to court records on the Grand Jury affidavit case citing Grand Jury secrecy. What Grand Jury?" he said. But Benish didn't stop at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. "We decided to take this to the next level. Today we asked the Congressional Committee on Judicial Matters to investigate Seabright's court. This committee is chaired by Rep. Bob Goodlatte and contain's such notables as Trey Gowdy and Shiela Jackson Lee.
