Victorian sterling silver and salmon crystal decanter. Made by John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton in London in 1891. Curved sides and flat scalloped foot. Ten vertical lobes with entwined cut-to-clear blossoming branches. Flower heads engraved on foot underside. Silver collar with hinged cover and c-scroll handle with similar ornament. Interlaced monogram engraved on cover. Fully hallmarked. Especially interesting is the St Petersburg import mark. Good enough for czarist Russia and still beautiful in fine condition.
