Sharks Foundation & SAP Bike Build Selects PARTI Program to Receive an In-Kind Donation of 40 Bikes

PARTI partners with Oak Grove High School Football Program and the Sharks Foundation & SAP Bike Build to donate 40 Bikes to at-risk kids in the community.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - July 13, 2018 - PRLog -- PARTI Program was chosen as a recipient for an in-kind donation from the Sharks Foundation's Bike Build in partnership with SAP! PARTI will be receiving a total of 40 bikes to benefit youth participants supporting the mission to Keep Youth Safe and Stop Bullies! After PARTI was informed of their windfall, they teamed up with the Oak Grove High School Football Program to select local children ages 8-14 that could benefit. PARTI and Oak Grove High School Football will collect the bikes from the San Jose Sharks on Monday, July 16th and donate them to kids participating in Oak Grove Youth Football (OGYF). PARTI's Executive Director, Winston Ashby, Oak Grove High School Football coach, Marcus Reese, and OGYF coach and board member, Jesse Dominguez, will utilize the bikes as part of the PARTI Health platform. Ashby states, "Bikes will make quite an impact on the lives of kids and the Oak Grove Youth Program, who need bikes to encourage these youth from low-income families who are searching for support through physical activities in order to keep their children away from negative influences. It helps take the pressure off the parents."

The Sharks Foundation dedicated an estimated $1.6 Million to causes such as Healthy Living, Hero Appreciation, and Education. They kicked off their Healthy Living campaign last year by assembling and donating 250 children's bikes in partnership with Groupware Technology and Turning Wheels for Kids.
