The Mysteries, Fun and Gratification of Ancestral DNA Testing

An 8,865 word book on seeking out your ancestral ethnicities via simple DNA tests, which can actually hold some interesting revelations as to whose ancestral blood percent is in your body as a progressed descendant (your genome)..

NORMAN, Okla. - July 25, 2018 - PRLog -- This book subtitled: "Who are You" (Approx. 8,865 words in length) is not deeply scientific but rather relates the journey (mine) that a person will take generally who is seeking their ancestral history, including learning enough to understand how to interpret their DNA analysis. As I relate in my numbered posts within this book, there can be satisfaction, surprises and at times, disappointments. All of this can happen when one takes a look at the results of ancestral DNA testing. I wrote this informational book in parts over several months, like one might make entries into a diary. What the information will hopefully do, is to help other people considering ancestry testing and analyses, to roughly know what to expect from it.
Knowing your ancestral background can be tremendously interesting. There are people in America (many) who for example, simply write "Caucasian" or "White" on forms that ask what their ethnicity is which may be generally true but if a large part of your ancestry is Iberian, you could actually choose "Hispanic". Any Spanish-speaking people are "Hispanic" but skin color can range from light, beige to brown. The same is true of Italian, Sicilian and Greek people or those from countries near the middle-East, that a person has ancestral roots in.
