By: The Growler Guys Seattle The mark the event, The Growler Guys is increasing their taps of fresh craft beer from 60 to 72. The concert and block party will be hosted in the fenced-off the parking lot and will include a professional stage featuring five bands and 5 food trucks. Eight breweries will be on site, including PNW staples Reuben's Brews, Black Raven, Fort George, Ecliptic, and Incline. During the day, the party will be family-friendly featuring games, activities and fun entertainment for all ages. "As a longtime local resident, I was blown away by our hometown band, Pearl Jam," said The Growler Guys owner, Kelly Dole. "What they're doing downtown with The Home Shows made me want to do something up here for our local the community. I could think of no better way to show our love and appreciation than by having a free show in this part of the city." The concert will feature local bands Crawling On, Moonlight Remedy, Headwaves, and Gypsy Temple. A tarot card reader, buskers and a DJ will thrill the crowd till 1am. The children's program will include musician Eli Rosenblatt, an ice cream station, face painting, balloon artists, a kid-friendly movie and a supervised wading pool. During the day, local charities and community groups will have tables. Local alt-rock band, Gypsy Temple is sure to be a stand-out. Phillip Peterson, a multi-gold Record Producer said, "Gypsy Temple reminds me of that moment when Pearl Jam busted loose during the grunge era. This alt rock band has all the makings of being the second coming of rock n roll since Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Nirvana took over the world. Gypsy Temple is the band many of us have been waiting for. Even if you don't like rock music, the sheer musicality and spectacle of their live show is worth checking out." Gypsy Temple band leader, Cameron Myles Lavi-Jones said "We're thrilled to support The Growler Guys because we're from NE Seattle. No matter where our music career takes us, Lake City, Maple Leaf, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park – that's our home forever." The Growler Guys' rooftop stage is rumored to be hosting a special guest at 10 pm.
