PRLog -- Biblical truths are sometimes skimmed-over and simply not thought through. Some Christians believe that the simpler they keep their understanding of God's Word, the better it is for THEM. However, how can they give better answers to those who are seeking them from Christians who as Paul stated "I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able." (1 Corinthians 3:2). These are Christians who Peter said should "...in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." – (1 Peter 3:15-16). People with very real stumbling blocks, designed by this fallen world for drawing people away from receiving Christ as their Savior. "In whom the god of this age {Satan} has blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." So, be prepared, with milk and/or meat depending on what the witnessing situation calls for. Search using my name for books on subjects such as "The Genesis Gap" at Amazon.
