Mitchell Martin partners with General Assembly to address skills gap and increase diversity

NEW YORK - Sept. 11, 2018 - PRLog -- Mitchell Martin Inc., a leader in talent acquisition, has launched a new partnership with skills training pioneer General Assembly to facilitate the development and recruitment of employees equipped with today's most in-demand technical and digital skills. Under the partnership, General Assembly (GA) will provide access to GA alumni talent as well as provide training opportunities to Mitchell Martin employees. Eligible employees will be trained on skills including Python, Javascript, CyberSecurity, Data Science, and UX/UI Design.

The partnership addresses the tech talent shortage and lack of diversity in technology workforce.  The goal is to recruit and train non-stem individuals who want to enter the technology workforce with an emphasis on women, minorities, and veterans.

Additionally, Mitchell Martin will now be able to offer their consultants GA training in emerging technologies thus providing their clients new sources of candidates.  The partnership will also provide graduates of General Assembly with access to a broader range of employment opportunities through Mitchell Martin's client network.
