R&B Singer Glenn Jones & Love Jones Foundation Celebrate Holiday Season With Seniors

ATLANTA - Nov. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- Grammy Nominated Producer and Artist, Glenn Jones and his non-profit, The Love Jones Foundation (LJF) will celebrate the holiday season with the elderly on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at  Signature Healthcare of Buckhead, 54 Peachtree Park Dr. NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, at 2:30 pm.   The LJF will bring holiday cheer, gifts and music therapy with music selections from founder Glenn Jones along with his band and special guests which include Grammy Award Winner Regina Belle, and Soul Sisters Radio hosts and singing sensations Keisha Jackson (daughter of Millie Jackson) and Heather Hayes (daughter of Isaac Hayes).  This event is open to the public.

By participating in this event, The Love Jones Foundation looks forward to sharing Signature Healthcare's overall mission, "to revolutionize the post-acute care industry through a culture of patient-centered healthcare services, personalized spirituality, real quality of life initiatives and stakeholder education and empowerment, to earn the trust of every patient, family and community served".

         The LJF was created with the mission to provide the youth and elderly with opportunities to learn, participate, and express themselves through various music programs, education, experiences and events.  Through its signature initiative, "The Music Zone", the LJF will aim to fill a void where school budget cuts have impacted arts/music programming; as well as increase the exposure of music therapy in both the youth and elderly.

         There are many proven benefits to both the youth and the elderly through music education and music therapy.  With this in mind, the objectives of the LJF are to provide the elderly with a feeling of comfort, contentment, and encouragement through fine arts programming; to give youth exposure, knowledge, and a means of artistic development and provide both with a form of therapeutic development through music.

After 30 years, Glenn Jones is still a force to be reckoned with in the music industry today. His recently released new single(s) You & Me and Love By Design from his forthcoming project of the same name, exemplify his signature sound first heard on chart topping hits like his signature song, "We've Only Just Begun".

The LJF has been a long time goal for Glenn after seeing the comforting effects of music on his Mom while in hospice care.  "I want to use the universal language of music to make a difference in the lives of our youth and our forgotten seniors…just like it made a difference in my life."
